Career and College Promise (CCP) Virtual Information Sessions
Description
Through Forsyth Tech's Career and College Promise program, qualified high school students in North Carolina can pursue dual enrollment options, tuition-waived, allowing them to get a jump start on career and college preparation. Career and College Promise has two pathways at Forsyth Tech Community College!
- College Transfer Pathway: The College Transfer Pathway allows high school students to earn college credits that transfer to four-year colleges and universities. Students can graduate from high school with college credits ranging from a few classes to a full semester and beyond.
- Career and Technical Education Pathway: The Career and Technical Education Pathway allows students to earn a certificate or a diploma in a technical career while they're still in high school. With over 50 Career and Technical Education pathways available, students can graduate high school ready to enter the workforce.

Absolutely! We encourage parents, guardians, or school counselors to attend with students. Dual enrollment involves both high school and college-level expectations, so it's helpful for families to be informed.
- What will be covered during the information session?
The session will explain eligibility requirements, how to apply, important deadlines, available pathways (College Transfer and CTE), and what to expect as a dual enrollment student. There will also be time for Q&A with college staff.
