DSS Childcare Assistance Pop-Up

Forsyth Tech CARES and the Student Parent Advocacy Resource Center (SPARC), in partnership with the Department of Social Services (DSS), invite student parents to attend our DSS Childcare Assistance Pop-Up!

We understand that finding affordable, quality childcare is an important part of your educational journey. This event is designed to connect student parents with DSS representatives who can conduct childcare subsidy eligibility interviews and help families explore available childcare assistance.

Before Attending:

1. Complete your DSS Childcare Assistance Application. (If possible) 

2. Submit your completed application to sparc@forsythtech.edu or the Forsyth Tech CARES Office.

3. Gather your required documentation, including your class schedule, proof of income, and any applicable documentation for your child.

4. Register for the pop-up and attend your scheduled interview.

Why Attend?

DSS representatives will be available to conduct eligibility interviews and discuss potential childcare subsidy assistance. Families who have submitted their applications and provided all required documentation may receive an eligibility decision the same day.

Please note: Registration does not guarantee childcare assistance. Eligibility and the availability of funding will determine whether assistance can be provided.
