Many of the CTE programs are Fall start programs and the corresponding Program Coordinator must be contacted!
Questions & Answers
Yes, however, many of the CTE programs are Fall start and students who enter in the Spring or Summer may have to attend general education courses until the core curriculum begins.
We will be showing students where they can get information on their academic programs and how to find information about their career prospects now & upon completion.
Hopefully you have submitted your transcripts from high school and any other college you have attended, but if not please bring a copy of your transcript or be able to access it! We will provide each student with a folder full of information on their program and Forsyth Tech in general. If you think there is something that is important we need to know, by all means, please bring it with you!
We will have limited seating, but a parent is allowed to accompany a student. We will not be able to allow a friend to attend unless they too are enrolled in a CTE program and have registered for the session.
We will have general information on financial aid and contact information for your assigned financial aid representative. If there is not a financial aid representative present the financial aid office will be open in the Allman Building.
Absolutely not! Returning students can benefit from the 1st Advising sessions too!
